General

Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that the information contained on this website is accurate and up to date, Hair Connection UK cannot be held liable for any errors, omissions or price changes.

All products are subject to availability.

All images on the website are for illustration purposes only & to give a general guide of how the product may look once assembled. The actual product may differ slightly to that in the illustration.

Normal delivery time is next working day delivery. Please note that unless the carrier/supplier offers a delivery booking in service your order will arrive without prior notification. A card will be left if no-one is home & the goods returned to the carriers local depot to await your contact to arrange a convenient re delivery.

Please note that if you live in Scotland or Ireland your order may take an extra 2-3 days.

Orders placed after 2pm will be delivered in 2 working days.

Distance Selling regulations

Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have a right to cancel your order (prior to shipment, see cancellation terms below) for any item purchased on this website, for a full refund.

Specific delivery date orders

It may be possible to request delivery for a specific date. Hair Connection will endeavor to make this happen but it cannot be guaranteed. Hair Connection will not entertain any claim whatsoever for compensation arising from late delivery due to a third party carrier.

Order Cancellation/ Refused Deliveries

You may cancel your order for a full refund prior to your order being shipped. Certain products also have a 14 day money back guarantee if you are not satisfied with the results. All other products have the statutory 7 working day return period, if the product is returned after this period or has been used then we reserve the right to refuse to acccpt the return. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Products

Hair Straighteners can heat up to 210 degrees and can be dangerous. We advise that you be careful and keep out of the reach of young children. There are stickers on both sides of the straighteners placed there by the manufacturer that advise to take caution as the product is hot. If you burn yourself with any of our hair straighteners we will not be held liable. If the product is faulty and causes damage or harm the manufacturer is responsible, we will not be held liable for any damage or harm that is caused by a customers own negligence or a product that is not manufactured by us.

Delivery

Hair Connection will not be held responsible for any delays/damages due to third party carriers, nor will we entertain any claims for compensation where the carrier fails to deliver at an agreed time. Any claims for damages to property caused by any third party carrier must be taken up with them directly. If you place an order after 2pm we cannot guarantee next day delivery, if you do so and your order does not arrive next day then we will not entertain any claims for compensation. Also please note that APCs ‘Next Day’ Service which we use does not include delivery on Saturday and Sunday. If you would like delivery on a Saturday let us know, however, there will be a surcharge to pay.

Collections/Faulty Products

In the event of an item being received that either develops a fault in the first yea r(proof of purchase will be required) or is found to be faulty upon delivery, we will arrange to have this item collected free of charge. Items must be packed in the original packaging and be made available for collection by our carriers within 48hrs of you notifying us they are faulty. If when the carrier arrives to collect the goods, they are found not to be available/ready, a charge, which will be payable by you, will be made for the carrier to recollect.

Once the items are received back at Hair Connection, we will inspect the product(s), and if necessary arrange to send out a replacement product. Please note that if the product is found on inspection NOT to be faulty on it's return to us, we may send this item back to you, and all delivery charges will be payable by you. Please note that if proof of purchase cannot be shown, then we reserve the right to charge for any/all repairs.

Warranties

All products come with a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty. We will replace or repair the product for the first year free of charge if it develops a fault. After the 1 year warranty period is up (from the date of purchase) we reserve the right to charge for repairs or replacement items.

Exchanges or Returns

YOU MUST KEEP ALL PACKAGING. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO RE-PACK ANY ITEMS IN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING FOR RETURN TO HAIR CONNECTION. WE CANNOT ACCEPT ANY ITEMS FOR RETURN THAT ARE NOT IN THEIR ORIGINAL PACKAGING UNLESS FAULTY.

Shipping and handling charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not refundable. Some items come with a 14 day money back guarantee which gives you longer to return the product if you are not happy with it. If you change your mind about a product which does not have the 14 day money back guarantee it must be returned to us unused and in original packaging within 7 working days, or we reserve the right to refuse to accept the return. This does not affect your statutory rights.
